About The High Hopes for Pets Foundationâ„

About Us

The High Hopes for Pets Foundation is a separate and independent not-for-profit entity. The High Hopes brand donates 3.5% from every sale of High Hopes’ healthy dog treat products (up to 15% of the company's profits) to the Foundation. The Foundation, in turn, independently decides how to disburse the funds.

Our mission and values

The High Hopes for Pets Foundationâ„  seeks to provide support for the many individuals and groups who are dedicated to the prevention of homelessness for companion pets everywhere. It is our hope to encourage and support the unconditional love and trust which is the foundation for all pet relationships, and to be a model to the human beings on which they depend.

Program objectives

The High Hopes for Pets Foundationâ„  would like to build partnerships with local animal care and control groups and shelters to help them do what they do best—caring and finding homes for homeless pets.

Our programs will focus on servicing the most urgent and immediate needs such as housing and food, but also on training programs to make animals more adoptable and educational programming about the wonder of animals and the responsibility of owning pets, with particular attention to children.

Animal Care and Control and Shelter organizations can request funding for these specific types of programs:

  • Food costs
  • Housing costs
  • Spay and neutering programs
  • Capital improvements
  • Training programs to make animals more adoptable
  • Educational workshops

Our accountability promise

We promise to hold our organization and those that we provide funding to, to high standards of accountability to ensure every dollar is used with the greatest efficiency, and we will be transparent with our results. We also hope to be a resource for the collaborative exchange of ideas, information and best practices to organizations that care for animals everywhere.
